Statues, 2015

Statues was created in 2015 as a "3x3" of nine photographs and is based on shots taken in Buenos Aires, Argentina in January 2014.

"Sailor" can be found in La Boca neighborhood of Buenos Aires. La Boca, literally "The Mouth," is named after the mouth-shaped port on the Riacheulo River (see Google Map).

The remaining statues reside peacefully at La Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, the site of Eva Peron's grave.
